Quinta Da Penha De França 4*

Quinta da Penha de França is set within a beautiful tropical garden in a quiet area of Funchal, around a 10-minute walk from the city centre and close to the marina.  The hotel is divided between the traditional Quinta Penha de França and the more contemporary Penha França Mar, which stands beside the ocean. The two areas are connected by a pedestrian bridge and lift. 

The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, one of which is seawater, and provides direct access to the sea.  Its restaurant serves a  mix of international and local Madeiran cuisine, with outdoor dining options that overlook the gardens or the ocean.  There is also a bar where guests can relax with a drink.

    Quinta Da Penha De França has two buildings, the older Manor house which houses 76 rooms whilst the more modern building, Penha França Mar has 33 rooms.  Both buildings are connected by a pedestrian foot bridge/elevator.

    These rooms are situated in the traditional Quinta Penha França Manor House, overlooking the tropical gardens and the centenary Jacaranda trees.  All rooms are equipped with a Television, Minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning, hairdryer and measure approx 13m².

    Twin Room with private Balcony or Terrace & Garden View

    These rooms are situated in the traditional Quinta Penha França Manor House, overlooking the tropical gardens with a private terrace or balcony.  All rooms are equipped with a Television, Minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning, hairdryer and measure approx 13m².

    Superior Garden Room - Partial Sea View

    These rooms are situated in the traditional Quinta Penha França Manor House with balconies looking through the gardens to the Atlantic Ocean.  All rooms are equipped with a Television, Minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning, hairdryer and measure approx 13m².

    Standard Pool Side
