Pestana Palacio Do Freixo 5*

Pestana Palácio do Freixo is a five-star hotel set within an 18th-century Baroque palace on the banks of the Douro River. Originally designed by Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, the palace features ornate stonework, imposing columns and richly decorated interiors. Now classified as a Portuguese National Monument, it has been carefully restored to preserve its historic character while providing modern comforts.

The rooms and suites are housed in a restored 19th-century former mill beside the palace. They combine contemporary décor with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities.
