Over 50 Years of Travel Expertise
Portugal Holidays is an extension of Latitude 40 Travel Agents which was established in 1975. Latitude 40 has had a varied and colourful history spanning over 50 years; a testament to the emphasis we put on maintaining long standing relationships with both our clients and suppliers.
Three 'amigos' originating from Portugal with varying degrees of experience in travel broke out from their respective jobs to set up an agency targeting the growing Portuguese community in London. The business quickly evolved from just selling flights to providing a host of other travel services reaching far and beyond Portugal whilst still maintaining an influential and dominant presence in the Portuguese community. A short lived sister company, Portugal Holidays was formed in 1977 as a tour operator with an extensive programme covering the length and breadth of Portugal and its majestic Archipelagos.
Still retaining its independence Latitude 40 runs as a family business with a skilled and knowledgeable team of travel experts with over 60 combined years of experience in travel and firsthand knowledge of all the hand-picked hotels and experiences we offer. We pride ourselves on offering our clients a high level of personal service and will take time to listen to your travel ideas and interests to create a tailor made holiday that's right for you.
